Calyx is built from ten engine subsystems, each a single instrument with one job. The same brand language runs through every mark: a dark observatory canvas, a cyan grounded subject, indigo association and field lines, and a single brass accent. Each illustration ties the subsystem's metaphor to what it actually does.

Sextant — taking a bearing The instrument that fixes true position from a sighted light: Calyx takes its bearing across distinct lenses.
