Association-native intelligence
A grounded database, research story, and free learning platform for builders who want AI systems that can measure, cite, refuse, and compose from real evidence. Join free to open the on-site tutor and save your progress.
Local preview only: this hydrates as a client-only island. Real Calyx measurement lands after the aiwonder vault and edge lenses are verified.
The white paper
The whole vision, end to end — the calculus of association, the grounding kernel, the fail-closed guard, and the path from a single workstation to a neuromorphic, planetary-scale substrate for grounded intelligence, where every answer is measured, grounded, and traceable to its sources.
Measure → Count → Differentiate → Compose
Calyx runs the same four verbs on every input — and this site runs them on you. Each step below is a still diagram; nothing here needs to move to be understood.

The platform teaches the real Calyx architecture: Aster, Sextant, Ward, Ledger, and Lodestar.
Paid Skool is the downstream community for weekly classes, founder access, replays, and direct build support.

Who builds Calyx
Calyx is designed and built by Chris Royse, who authored the four papers it stands on — the calculus of association, the grounding kernel, the symmetry of knowing, and a unified theory of machine learning. The method is written down, and the product runs on it; read both and judge for yourself.
Paid community
The paid Skool community adds weekly live classes, direct founder support, replays, and accountability. The free website tutor remains the first learning step.
